CalcDesk (calcdesk.in) is an online calculator hub providing free financial calculators for Indian users — covering GST, EMI, Income Tax, Salary, HRA, EPF, and more. We are based in India.

What Data We Collect

Personal financial data: None. Every number you enter into our calculators — your salary, loan amount, GST figures, turnover, rent — is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. This data is never sent to CalcDesk servers, never stored in a database, and never shared with any third party.

We may collect the following non-personal, anonymous data through standard web server logs:

• Pages visited and time spent (anonymous, aggregated)
• Browser type and device type
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level, from IP address)
• Referring website

This data is used solely to understand how CalcDesk is used and to improve the site. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

Cookies

CalcDesk uses minimal cookies. We may use:

• Analytics cookies — to understand site traffic patterns (anonymous, aggregated data only)
• WordPress functional cookies — required for the website to function correctly

We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or any third-party tracking cookies that follow you across the web.

PDF Reports and Razorpay Payments

If you purchase a PDF report (₹99), payment is processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. CalcDesk does not store your payment card details. Razorpay’s privacy policy applies to the payment transaction. We receive only a transaction confirmation, not your card or bank details.

The PDF itself is generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript (jsPDF). It is not uploaded to or stored on CalcDesk servers.

Google Fonts

CalcDesk loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers to download the font. Google may log this request per their own privacy policy. We use Google Fonts solely for typography.

Third-Party Links

Our calculators and pages may contain links to third-party websites (banks, EPFO, income tax portals, etc.). CalcDesk is not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy

CalcDesk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Data Security

Since CalcDesk does not collect or store personal financial data, there is no risk of your financial information being compromised through a data breach on our servers. All calculations remain on your device.
